Merry Christmas!!

We went to visit Santa at the Riverwoods. Cute Santa!
I thought Sylie and JJ would cry, but Sylie was so excited and as soon
as she walked in she told him what she wanted and sat on his lap and acted all shy.
JJ just kept staring at him and pointing and talking.

girl's night out....

sylie and i had a little girls night out
on princess and the frog's opening night.
i have been so excited to take sylie for so long!
first we went to cafe rio, and then to the movies.
she sat on my lap the whole time. she kept
saying how much she loved me and that she wanted
to hang out with me "all of the day"...
i love my sylie!! she is my bestie.

the other day the kids were playing in the room and
it got quiet for a little while.
i found sylie in her room reading,
but couldn't find jj and ella.
looked all over the house and found
them in the tub with the door closed.

I think....

I really need to start finding Sylie more dress up buddies...
In the mean time.... JJ is happy to help!
Yesterday, I went out for last minute Christmas shopping
and Jer kept texting this sort of pictures.
Look at how happy they look?
JJ was so happy and Sylie was telling me all about their
dress up party when I came home.
JJ is such a good sport.
I just hope he laughs when he is 16 and sees these pictures.
Maybe we should get a prince dress up chest too!

Winter Fun!!

I can't believe kids like to play outside
in the playground even when its freezing cold....

Chart

We have struggled to get Sylie to eat healthy for well... always.
We have tried all sorts of techniques to help her eat fruits and vegetables.
From bribing, to punishing, to feeding her, etc...
I thought I would try a fruit and veggie chart.
Potty training with a chart and stickers and a prize at the end of the week worked
really well for her, so hopefully this will work.
I pulled some stuff from the internet and
Jer totally made this cute little chart.
After that I laminated it and put velcro on each square
so she can velcro individual fruits andveggies.
We started last night.
Our goal is to have her eat 5 fruits and vegetables every day.
Last night she ate 2.
So far today she has had 3.
She can't wait to put on another piece on the chart.
Hopefully this works and then becomes a habit.
